Five Years of codeto

On August 2, 2025, codeto turned five. A perfect moment to look back – and, more importantly, to look ahead.

Our first solution, planr, has now been in productive use at numerous companies for over four years. The majority of our customers still come from the electrical industry, but more and more businesses from other trades are now using planr successfully for their workforce and capacity planning – both in the office and on-site. Reliable planning remains the core value.

What makes us particularly proud: planr has become an integral part of everyday operations in many businesses – and new companies continue to join. This positive development motivates us greatly.

At the same time, our second solution, reportr, is gaining momentum. The mobile time tracking and reporting tool is currently being rolled out within the Burkhalter Group. With the article in the e-Trends magazine in June 2025, reportr was also officially introduced to companies outside the group. Since then, several promising conversations have taken place – and the first pilot project with an external company is already in the pipeline.

Our resources have been – and in part still are – heavily tied up with ongoing projects and development work, primarily for reportr. We are grateful for the trust placed in us and for the many exciting tasks we get to work on. At the same time, we’ve deliberately set ourselves the goal of investing more in our own products again. This includes focusing more closely on customer feedback and giving greater attention to feature requests and ideas.

We’re also excited about what lies ahead from a technological perspective: In 2025, we aim to bring planr and reportr together. The goal is to enable seamless communication between both systems – so that time tracking can be based directly on the planning. We expect this connection to result in clear process optimization and efficiency gains – with minimal effort required from users.

We look forward to many new features, exciting projects, and hopefully plenty of new customers. At the same time, we’re grateful for the trust placed in us over the past years. It feels like we’re in the right place – and we’re excited to see where the journey goes from here.
